Game Night: Saturday 7-29-2006

It's been a very long time for updates!
I picked up a few new games, Cleopatra and the Society of Architects caught my eye with the cool components and a few new mechanics.
For a first time play, I think everyone liked it. The whole point to the game is to build the Egyptian objects for Cleo, the hard part is balancing honest work and being corrupt. Each time you use a card that gives a little extra, you get corruption tokens in your pyramid. At the end of the game, the person with the most corruption is sacrificed to the crocodile god. The resource cards you draw from are shuffled half up, half down, I like that little twist. We had no idea who was willing till the end, we thought it was going to be close.
Cleo Winner Steve 52 - Ed 51 - Suzanne 35 - John P. 34 - Ray Feed to the Croc God
Next up, Bang! We have not dusted off the six shooters in a long time. This is a fun game for something so simple! Don and I edged out Prich on this one, it was a good game.
Bang! Winner Don/Ed Sheriff/Deputy - Steve Outlaw - Jon P. Renegade - Suzanne Deputy - Ray Outlaw
Last, but not least, Condottiere. Another game we haven't played in a long time. Still as fun as when we bought it. The down side, they can be long games. Steve and Ray kicked some crow ass in this game, Prich had a shot but couldn't pull it off.
Condottiere Winner Steve - Ray 4 - Ed 2 - John P. 2 - Don 1 - Suzanne 1
